Snuggling Is Healthy For You!

Post by SheilaH » Sun Mar 24, 2019 7:02 pm

I'm a plethora of "medical" related articles and studies. Maybe in the future I'll get to healthy eating and exercise! :? Until then...here's to snuggling!
Share a Bed Without Losing Sleep
Once we get past the "objective consequences" such as cold hands or feet touching you, drooling, stealing covers, hogging the bed, talking or moaning in one's sleep, and obviously snoring.....the survey said adults apparently prefer to snuggle!!! Further "extensive" research by me lead down the wormhole of men vs women, sex, no sex, bedroom brawls, etc. But, "HEY", we all sleep at some point when not Spectro watching!

I bid you adieu! Till next time peeps!
"Sleep is a critically important health behavior that we know is associated with heart disease and psychiatric well-being," Wendy Troxel, an assistant professor of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, told the Wall Street Journal.
A senior behavioral and social scientist at the RAND Corporation, noted that although studies show that people sleep better alone, those same participants say that they preferred to sleep with a partner.
Couples sleeping on the same bed may live longer and be in better health that people who sleep by themselves, experts say.
