Barbecued Brown Sugar and Soy Salmon

G day cobbers. Check this little ripper out!!!!!! Barbecued Brown Sugar and Soy Salmon

Serves: 6
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon minced garlic
freshly ground black pepper to taste
5 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons dark brown soft sugar
5 tablespoons water
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
700g salmon fillet
chives and lemon slices, for garnish

Preparation:10min › Cook:15min › Extra time:2hours marinating › Ready in:2hours25min
In a small bowl, stir together lemon zest, garlic, pepper, soy sauce, sugar, water and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a bowl with the marinade, cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat barbecue for medium heat.
Lightly oil cooking grate. Place salmon on the preheated barbecue, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with chopped chives and lemon slices, if desired. Tuck in and enjoy, Hooroo.
